Phone numbers are collected through the bid submission popup on public Dropbid auction pages. When a user clicks "Place a Bid," a form appears requesting their name, email, and phone number. Consent to receive SMS messages is obtained at the point of phone number submission via a clear disclosure shown directly below the phone number field.

How We Use Your Phone Number:

If you provide your phone number on a Dropbid auction bid form, we will use it solely to send transactional and operational SMS messages related to your auction activity. These include outbid notifications, bid confirmations, and auction status updates.

Message Frequency:

Message frequency varies based on your bidding activity and auction participation.

Message and Data Rates:

Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier's standard rates. Dropbid does not charge for SMS messages.

Opt-In & Disclosures:

By signing up and providing your phone number on DropBid, you agree to receive recurring text messages from DropBid regarding your auction activity. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe.

No Third-Party Sharing:

We do not share, sell, or otherwise provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent information to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

4. Security of Data

The security of your data is important to us. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

5. Third-Party Service Providers
